Liposuction is best done using an ultrasonic device or what is known as the Vaser. The technology and ability to contour the tissues with better precision than any other device; Vaser Liposuction emulsifies the fat prior to suction. With this, bruising is lessened and contouring is increased.
About Vaser Liposuction
Vaser liposuction is a special technique developed to selectively, effectively and safely removes unwanted body fats without causing any disturbance to important structures like the blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue.
A smaller cannula (suction tube) is used for Vaser Liposuction. Liposuction on the thighs usually requires between two to three areas.
What to expect of the procedure?
Vaser Liposuction is a one-time procedure, done as an outpatient procedure. The duration of the procedure will depend on the number of areas. The procedure is done under sedation and local anesthesia by an anesthetist, all provided in a day surgery facility. After the procedure, patients are able to head home for a rest and review will be done immediately on the next day for change of dressing.
Liposuction aims more on body contouring instead of major weight loss as the fats sucked out are those that don’t weigh a lot.
