Korean Style Scarless Eyebag Removal

SCARLESS Eyebag Removal is an office based procedure which removes fat from the lower eyelid without making any cut on the lower eyelid. Performed in just under 20 mins, this procedure is indeed a signature and niche procedure in our centre and is performed under local anesthesia.

What causes EYEBAGS?

  • Genes
  • Aging or senescence
  • Water retention
  • Pseudo eyebags ( pretarsal muscle )

After surgical removal, recurrence would typically take in excess of 8-10 years.

Do non surgical methods get rid of EYEBAGS?

Radio frequency or needle based delivery of heat:

Patients have been hoodwinked into believing that insertion of a needle with radio frequency removes or melts fat permanently. What actually happens is that multiple needles are punctures into skin and delivers heat. These needles may sometimes burn the skin and leave pigments or permanent scars on the lower eyelids that are impossible to remove. The melted fat sometimes forms Cysts known as fat necrotic lumps. These lumps can only be removed surgically and patients can often feel them in the lower eyelid and it shows when you smile.

Laser melting of fats:

A similar procedure to melt the fats causes a much loathed swelling in the lower eyelids. The swelling can be a lot worse than actual surgical removal of eyebags. It also causes similar side effects of the procedure as mentioned above.
